Android Developer (remote)

Hey there, Android developers! Looking for a new and exciting opportunity to flex your Kotlin development skills? Look no further! We’re hiring a remote Android developer to join our awesome team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining top-notch Android applications. You’ll work closely with our product owners and design team to bring new and innovative features to our users. Plus, you’ll have the freedom to work from wherever you please – so long as you have an internet connection, of course.

But, eh, Glamorous Goat?

We are a native app development agency of over 20 specialists with an odd name. We like to do things just a little differently, because we build “apps not apps”. 🙃 We are an almost fully remote team, with our headquarters in The Netherlands.

Our international team works closely together on the boldest apps for ambitious startups and multinationals. We focus on the most diverse markets. This keeps our work fun and allows us to keep coming up with fresh advice, ideas and apps.

What will you do?

As an Android developer, you’ll be the one who really brings our apps to life. Our team consists mainly of senior developers, with talented juniors learning the trade. You’ll work with product managers, designers and other developers to define and implement new features in our apps. You will also develop and maintain the app codebase, including writing clean, efficient and well-documented code. We give responsibility, but more importantly challenge you so we both grow as a result.

What do we offer?

  • Once a year we host Glamorous Goat week, where we spend time together as a team;
  • Working in a friendly and fun team;
  • Challenging projects for great clients in different markets;
  • A 32- to 40-hour work week with a competitive salary;
  • And if you are missing something in this list: just discuss it with us!

What makes you special?

  • Your perfect balance between quality and speed;
  • Your preference for beautiful challenges;
  • Your open, pleasant way of working together;
  • Your will to keep improving together.

Our Wish List

  • You have >= 3 years of proven experience in Kotlin;
  • You are used to working with GIT on all projects;
  • You prefer a structured and documented way of working;
  • Your English is fluent in speech and writing;
  • You are comfortable with radical honesty and radical transparency. So you are able to give and receive feedback in an open (but constructive) way!

If you’re passionate about Android development and ready for a new challenge, we want to hear from you! Apply now to join our team and help us create amazing apps.

Do you work at a recruiting agency? Nice!!! But we like to do things ourselves. Proactively sending candidates we will consider as a karma gift and reserve the right to approach these people ourselves.
